Swan

“Every legend has a starting point, whether it be based on a real event or one that is purely fictional.”

“Onstage, the character unfurls their feathers, allowing their body to speak and their thoughts to flow freely. This marks the beginning of a journey deep into the soul, where memories, dreams, and echoes of tales once heard come to life. Through a kaleidoscope of colors, emotions, and moods, the audience is taken on a thrilling rollercoaster ride that reflects the highs and lows of life.”

This captivating solo performance delves into themes of identity and self-discovery, blending dance, theater, and film to create a mythical coming-of-age narrative that follows the trials and tribulations of pursuing one’s dreams. In this never-ending process of transformation and becoming whole, nothing is ever truly complete.

SpeeDance

SpeedDance is an energetic event based on the concept of 48 hour theater and cinema festivals. In the early morning, the artists are randomly divided into groups. Each of them will create their new short piece, rehearse and then perform it in front of an audience in DOCK 11 that same evening.

SpeedDance is a popup meeting space organized by the Tomer Zirkilevich Company in collaboration with DOCK11. It’s an intense art project where we reconnect, create, and perform. This playful event brings together a diverse mix of dancers and choreographers to celebrate their love and respect for art and its importance in our world.

PAUL Studio Berlin

PAUL Studio was an Performing Artists’ Urban Laboratory, a collective for artists by artists with a strong focus on the performing arts. PAUL was a place for artistic exchange, a place for collaboration, and a place for community. PAUL was the conglomeration of Vera, Zahra, and Edegar who support one another in their work and shape this platform together. PAUL  was collectively run, without hierarchies.

Rather than delve into facts of our long lives we’ve chosen to describe ourselves personally, talk about our work, our art and what inspires us.

The Wall Series was a bi-monthly performance series hosted and curated by The PAUL Collective. This series provided artists of all disciplines an opportunity to present their works in progress or finished works in an intimate setting for an enthusiastic audience.

When The PAUL Collective tore down the wall dividing their two studios, they were inspired by their newfound larger space and decided to begin a performance series amidst their new expandable wall!
